Parts of Baby Thesis

A baby thesis usually contains all the parts which are significant in writing a thesis. Just because the baby thesis is the shorter form of a thesis, the writer cannot skip any of its parts. Because each and every sub-topic of the baby thesis is as much important as the complete thesis is. Exclusion of any subheading will lead to unfinished and deficient baby thesis. Moreover missing any of the subtopics will decrease the significance and understanding of the baby thesis. The following parts are most important and necessary for the completion of a baby thesis.

Important Parts of Baby Thesis:

Table of content must be there to show the main headings and subheadings of the complete baby thesis. Any heading or subheading should not be skipped in the table of content. Also, the page number of each heading and subheading must be mentioned along with the name of heading or subheading to provide ease to the reader if someone wants to find the area of his own interest immediately from the complete baby thesis.

Most importantly subheadings should be indented to make it look better. Also, the page numbers of the figures must also be included.

Next to table of content must be an introduction of the baby thesis. As it is the proper starting of the thesis, it must be interesting. It must grab the attention of the reader and compel the reader to read the thesis until the end. Interest keeping and good introduction can be written only if the researcher has the complete know-how of the topic. Good grip on the topic is only possible in case the researcher has thoroughly studied all the relevant and significant papers.  This is the only way through which researcher will be able to write a fine introduction to his baby thesis.

The introduction must also contain the number of facts related to the main topic of the thesis in an inspiring way to encourage the reader to read the baby thesis till its end and compare the results of the study with the previous ones. Another tip to make the introduction more interesting is to include some background knowledge related to the topic of the research so that it may make sense that why researcher has chosen the topic to work on. Grabbing the interest of the reader is only possible in the situation if the problem statement or the hypothesis of the baby thesis is itself appealing, then the reader will be motivated to read it until the end to examine the results.

After introduction literature review must be written. Literature review, in fact, describes all the significant and most relevant research papers which are being worked by other researchers in the same field. This portion of a baby thesis concisely describes previous studies done in the same discipline but by different researchers in different areas so then it will give the researcher a proper way out for working on the baby thesis. But all the previous researchers must be discussed in a very concise and precise way so that reader may not lose interest or the baby thesis should not become too much longer. In this portion of the baby thesis, the proper acknowledgment should be given to those writers who have worked on this topic. Proper citation and referencing must be added in this portion of a thesis.

A baby thesis must include methods through which the researcher has done all the analysis. It may include sampling techniques, number of individuals included in the sample, calculations, equipment or statistical techniques to complete the analysis. In fact, this portion of the baby thesis enhances the reliability of the research paper that actually work has been done on the topic. Moreover, it will make work easier for other researchers in future so that they may also use the same techniques to work on the same topic but in the different areas may be or to analyze some other points of the research. This portion is really helpful for other researchers as well because it comprises of raw data collected, methods and techniques applied to it, and then finding & analysis of the whole research.

It must be remembered that no any portion or subheading must be missed but the entire subtopics must be covered in a very concise way.  After unfolding the results of the research, recommendations should be added so that other researcher may find out other new ways to research on the same topic. Recommendation portion may also include the proposals for other new researchers to guide them to research the same topic in some other dimension. Most of the times baby thesis also includes assumptions which are necessary to control some variables of the research, those assumptions must be included to provide a guideline for the other researchers as well.

The last topic of the research holds the most important place in the thesis that is the conclusion which the writer draws from whole research. It must depict the important results of the whole research; moreover, results must be associated with the opening question of the research. Results of the baby thesis may be according to the hypothesis assumed at the start of the research or may be opposite to it but they must be stated in clear & straightforward manner so that reader may understand the results with ease.

Results must be stated with clear statistics, tables, charts, and graphs to make the results more understandable and explicable to the reader. In this section results can be stated only, it may be broken up into some more rational segments so that it looks more comprehensible but the interpretation of the results is not related to this section of the baby thesis. After that discussion section will comprise of interpretation of results and connect them to the hypothesis with logic and reasons.

The scope of the research must be added at the end so that it will emphasize the importance of your research. It will give a sensible explanation of baby thesis being turned into the complete and final thesis in future. Most importantly the baby thesis must be referenced properly at the end so that it should have a back from where researcher have collected the previous data and it really has good logic and grounds behind it.
