Persuading means “to induce, to move, to compel someone with reasons to believe or to do something”
Writing a persuasive essay is intended to convince the reader of the point of view of its author about the subject.
Persuasion, in fact, constitutes an act that is carried out in several aspects of daily life. At school, we try to convince our colleagues and teachers of our ideas, at work, perhaps, we want our boss to agree to give us an increase in salary. At home, the children try to convince their parents to obtain privileges.
Below is a step-by-step guide to elaborate on a persuasive essay

First step: Choose a Topic
It is recommended to choose a topic that is to the liking of the editor. That is, a field of study in which you feel interested and willing to investigate
In school settings, sometimes teachers already present possible topics to students.
It is recommended to read the article on 100 possible topics for a trial.
Second step: Research
This is where the author is responsible for finding sources to sustain their work. Although your own voice is always important in what you write, it is essential to have a solid, credible basis, so that the arguments can be really convincing.
For example, if someone is writing an essay to persuade about the importance of climate change, you should endorse that point of view with concrete facts about that phenomenon, statistics, opinions of other experts, etc.
Third step: Arguments
Here lies the center point of our essay. The arguments are the pillars that support the outline of the ideas of the editor.
There are different types of arguments that can be used, such as analogy, authority, among others.
If for example, we talk about the consequences of abuse in the use of the Internet, the main argument has to revolve around the negative effects it can have on the health and personality of the person who is abusing this technology.
Fourth step: The Style
The style is the reflection of the essayist’s own voice. It is always linked to the strength of the arguments. The important thing is that, when the reader reads, he can easily identify that the ideas he is analyzing have some originality
Step five: The Conclusion
In the final part of the essay, the author can briefly review his main ideas, or emphasize some aspect as a last attempt to capture the favor of his reader. There is no concrete rule on how to finish an essay. Simply, it is preferred that the author always has a natural tone in his style

In cases like this, it is even ironic the name of a social network, since that person who spends so much time in their profile, in truth, is having little social life
