Canadian University Dubai Scholarships Announced 2024-25

Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has taken a significant stride towards making high-quality Canadian education more accessible to a diverse range of students. In a move that underscores their commitment to fostering inclusivity and recognizing the importance of diversity, CUD has launched a series of scholarship programs aimed at removing financial barriers and special needs from the educational journey.

CUD is delighted to offer the following scholarship opportunities:

Undergraduate Scholarships:

  • Academic Excellence Scholarship
  • Sports Scholarship
  • Financial Hardship Scholarship
  • Special Needs Scholarship
  • Special Talent Scholarship

Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships:

  • Study Scholarship

These scholarships are open to all students, regardless of their citizenship, provided they meet the admission requirements. To be eligible, students must be enrolled full-time in four or more academic courses per semester. Scholarship recipients are also required to maintain a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) according to the specific requirements outlined for each scholarship. It’s important to note that these scholarships are not applicable for summer semesters and are valid only for current tuition fees.

Students are encouraged to apply for more than one scholarship if they meet the eligibility requirements. In the event that a student qualifies for multiple reductions or scholarships, they will have the opportunity to choose the scholarship with the highest value. However, it’s crucial to understand that scholarship recipients or those who qualify for a reduction in tuition fees may not appeal the decision or the percentage of reduction assigned; the decision is considered final.

Application Deadlines:

  • For the fall semester: July 7th
  • For the spring semester: December 20th

Please be aware that late or incomplete scholarship applications will not be considered by the scholarship committee. Applicants are required to email their scholarship application forms, along with all supporting documents as detailed in the relevant sections of different scholarship types, to scholarship@cud.ac.ae.
