A teacher plays a vital role in every student’s life, they mold the student into what they become. A teacher gives educational knowledge to a student but addition to that a teacher teaches us morality, gives us ethical values and tries to better the student’s personality to be a better human being.
A teacher is considered to be a third parent for a child as teacher spends most of the time of their childhood with them so students learn a lot from them, now it is up to the teacher to teach them all the good things about them and refrain from teaching them bad things intentionally or unintentionally.
A child’s growth and development depend on how the teacher treats them and molds them to be. A teacher should have patience, tolerance and always have a bright smile on their face which makes the children want to be with them and learn from them willingly otherwise students just think of it as a burden and does not learn anything from them.
My experience as a student was not a very good one as I had all the teachers who thought that the only way to make a child learn was to punish them or beat them, which is not the best way to make a child learn. It made me fear going to school everyday and that is never good for a child’s future.
Then I got into a very prestigious college where I was more scared than ever but I got the most reasonable and passionate teachers whose main goal was to groom the children. The teachers over there guided and directed me towards the better future and I will be forever grateful for them for making me who I am today or I would have always had low self-esteem and low confidence.
This proves that a better teacher who genuinely wants to see their student’s success are important for the students so the organization should focus on the passion and knowledge of the teachers instead of just their knowledge if they care about the student’s future genuinely.
These types of teachers are really hard to find in this generation as only few of the teachers are genuine for the students otherwise they are here just to their job, spend 8 hours in schools as a duty and forget about their students once they get promoted.
Once a student finds a teacher who not only focus on educational knowledge but also focuses on character development of every individual student and understand the students and their way of thinking then there is no doubt that the student would one day be a successful man or woman which is all the teacher cares about.
The teacher’s greatest possession should be seeing the child’s achievements and cherish them. They should encourage them not demotivate them. If we look at it in a different view we can see that the future of the country also depends on the teachers as they mold, groom and motivate the students into a better person and the students are said to be the future of the country.
